Film & Television.
Craigengillan Estate is the perfect location for your film, photography, and television projects.
Craigengillan Estate was first established as an estate with a crown charter in 1611 and remained a seat of the McAdam Family and their descendants for almost 400 years. Craigengillan is a rare example of a complete and unfragmented estate. It includes a Category A listed mansion house and stable court, as well as formal policies and a celebrated Pulham rock and water garden. One of the main internal architectural and design developments took place in 1905 when Jansen of Paris was contracted to remodel and redecorate much of the house interior. Jansen interiors can also be found in Buckingham Palace and the White House.
As background to the Category A listed buildings and other historic stone structures located throughout the estate there are pastoral landscapes, rugged hills, formal gardens, woodland paths, lochs, rivers and a spectacular gorge and waterfall.
As part of the ongoing development and aim to achieve long-term sustainability we welcome and invite those who are looking for a location for their film, photography or television projects ( Amateur or Professional ) to get in contact.
We would be delighted to talk to you about your project.
