Craigengillan has much to offer the walker. With new walking routes just opened up, the Estate offers excellent paths in unspoilt countryside. The Doon Valley is home to a huge variety of habitats and hosts a diverse range of flora and fauna, which make for very rewarding walking.

Copies of the guide are available from East Ayrshire Council's Outdoor Access unit for just £1, and are also available for sale locally.

The guide include a map of the routes, plus information about the wildlife, history, archaeology, geology, accommodation, tea rooms, and ideas for other activities in the Doon Valley.
