Craigengillan Stables, Ayrshire Scotland

Set in a sheltered fold in the hills of the Southern Uplands 12 miles from Ayr, Craigengillan Estate covers some 3000 acres of beautiful parkland, woods, rivers, lochs and hills. In addition to the tracks on Craigengillan itself, the estate adjoins the great Galloway Forest, which the Forestry Commision has kindly given permission to ride through. One can go for days without crossing a public road.

In the centre of this magical setting is Craigengillan House and the lovely Georgian Stable block. Carefully restored, this fine building with it's original stalls and cobbled courtyard offers first class livery accommodation for 12 horses and 2 ponies.

Due to the fact we are now VAT registered we have to add VAT onto our prices.

Camps from £25 per person per day, various dates throughout the school holidays for small informal groups of around 5 people.  Activities include lessons, guided hacking and horse care.
